We are thrilled to announce the publication of our latest collaborative research involving UULM, Nanoplus, BOKU, and NMBU. The research, titled “A Portable Infrared Attenuated Total Reflection Spectrometer for Food Analysis,” has been featured in the Applied Spectroscopy Journal.
In this study, we assessed the analytical capabilities of a compact IR-ATR spectrometer for its potential applications in food analysis, specifically in the analysis of mycotoxins, fatty acids, and organic solvents. Crucial analytical characteristics like sensitivity, repeatability, signal-to-noise ratio and spectral resolution were estimated and compared to the conventional laboratory FTIR spectrometer.
